Music Guidelines for Practice Ice

FREE SKATING: All events except the Junior, Senior, Junior Classic , Collegiate. Junior and Senior Short Programs will be 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES

  1. Teams have the option of having your music played once or twice within the parameters designated below.
  2. Teams must notify the ice monitor of the number of times their music is to played, before they enter the ice for the official Short Program practice session.
  3. Practice session timing will begin when the first skater steps onto the ice. All skaters must enter and be on the ice within 30 seconds.
  4. Once the music has started, it will be played through completely and may not be stopped for any reason
  5. If your music is played once, it will be played NO LATER than the six and one-half (6 1/2) minute mark of the 10 minute practice session. A thirty (30) second warning will be given prior to your music being started.
  6. If your music is to be played two times, the first (1) time will be NO LATER than the three (3) minute mark of this practice session, the second (2) time will be played NO LATER than the six and one-half (6 1/2) minute mark of the practice session. A thirty (30) second warning will be given prior to your music being started.

FREE SKATING: Senior, Junior, Junior Classic and Collegiate 12 MINUTES

  1. Teams have the option of having your music played once (1) or twice (2) within the parameters designated below.
  2. Teams must notify the ice monitor of the number of times their music is to be played before they enter the ice for the Official Free Skating practice
  3. Practice session timing will begin when the first skater steps onto the ice. All skaters must enter and be on the ice within 30 seconds.
  4. Once the program has started, it will be played through completely and may not be stopped for any reason.
  5. If your music is to be one time, it will be played NO LATER than the six and one-half (6 1/2) minute mark of this 12 minute session. A thirty (30) second warning will be given prior to music being started.
  6. If your music is to be played two times, the first time will be NO LATER than the three (3) minute mark of this practice session, the second time will be played NO LATER than the six and one-half (6 1/2) minute mark of this practice session. A thirty (30) second warning will be given prior to your music being started.
