This competition had all the traditional Michigan High School Competitions events, AND it had a GREAT BONUS!! Halfway through the "real" events, we stuck in a set of "longest element" events, where the goal was to hold certain elements (spins, spirals, bauers) for the longest period of time. It was GREAT FUN. I'm not sure if the skaters, the judges, or the spectators enjoyed it more, but regardless, it was a real great idea.
